“ Azteca has delicious, authentic Mexican food! The service is friendly and they offer great recommendations. I loved my Quesabirrias! Extremely tender and well seasoned beef with melted cheese ( provolone, maybe ) inside 3 crispy tortillas ( corn because I am gluten free ) served with a delicious beef broth that had rice and corn in it. A side of fresh chopped onions, cilantro and a lime. As well as 2 types of hot sauce allowing you to add what you wanted for toppings. An extremely satisfying amd filling lunch! ”

“ This is the restaurant in downtown Charlottetown to be sure to visit. Excellent quality, authentic, home-made Mexican dishes, served and tasting as one would expect in a Mexico City funda. Make a point of trying this place. Better than any of the Mexican restaurants I have tried in Toronto to date. The two basic tomato (red and green) sauces are made with local sensibilities in mind - not overly spicy but exceptionally savory. They make two add-on salsas for those of us who crave picante, and both are delicious. Must try items are: Enmoladas - one of the most loved, typical lunch items of Mexico City, and Azteca does a fantastic job. Chilaquiles - if you haven't tried this before, now is the time. An addicting Mexican breakfast and hangover food. Huevos divorciados - how does one make something as simple as sunny side up eggs outstanding? Mouth watering. Molletes - one of my all time favorite weekend brunches, reading la Reforma on a Saturday afternoon in Hipodromo Condesa. And, the enchiladas en salsa verde are outstanding!!!! They serve real aguas de sabor, as one would expect in any central Mexican restaurant. Had the old favorite "Agua de Jamaica". The food here is like home away from home for me. Locals should visit this little gem as often as possible. Es un restarante encantador, y su comida es sabrosísima. ”
